ViewToCash

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 19, 2026

This policy describes how ViewToCash (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the ViewToCash website and application, including information we receive from Google APIs and YouTube API Services. ViewToCash uses YouTube API Services.

Questions or deletion requests: privacy@viewtocash.com.

Google and YouTube data

When you connect a YouTube channel, you sign in with Google and grant ViewToCash access to that channel. We request only the access the feature you are using needs:

  • View your YouTube account. We read the channel identity, the Google account email used for the connection, and video metadata such as title, description, privacy status, duration, view count, publish time, and thumbnail. We use this to list your videos and attribute clicks, leads, and revenue to them.
  • Upload videos you ask us to post. When you choose a video file in ViewToCash and tell us to publish it, we upload that video to the YouTube channel you authorized, using the title, description, and privacy setting you select (private, unlisted, or public). We do not upload a video unless you take that action. We do not edit, delete, or post to your channel for any other reason.

We store the OAuth refresh token, a short-lived access token, the granted scopes, and the channel and video metadata above so the connection keeps working until you disconnect it. The refresh token is stored on our servers and is used only to call YouTube for the features above.

We do not sell Google user data. We do not use it for advertising, retargeting, interest-based ads, credit or lending decisions, or to build a database for anyone else. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. We share it only with the infrastructure provider that hosts ViewToCash and its database, and with Google when we call the YouTube API, so we can provide the features above. We also disclose it if the law requires it or to investigate a security incident or abuse. We do not share it with Stripe, advertisers, data brokers, or information resellers. Humans at ViewToCash do not read this data unless you ask us to, we need to investigate a security incident or abuse, or the law requires it.

ViewToCash's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can revoke ViewToCash's access at any time on the Google security settings page. You can also disconnect the channel inside ViewToCash. Either action ends our ability to call YouTube for that channel. Disconnecting deletes the stored refresh token and access token for that channel.

Google's privacy policy explains how Google handles your account: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

How long we keep YouTube data

We refresh stored channel and video metadata while the channel stays connected, so the copy in ViewToCash matches YouTube. We delete YouTube API data, including tokens and cached video metadata, when you disconnect the channel, close the workspace, or ask us to delete it. We do not keep YouTube API data for more than 30 days after we no longer need it to provide the service.

A video file you submit for upload is held only long enough to send it to YouTube. We delete that file when the upload finishes or fails. We do not keep a copy of your YouTube video content.

Account data

When you create a ViewToCash account we store:

  • Your name, email address, and password hash.
  • Workspace details such as the workspace name, members you invite, and settings you enter.
  • Billing records if you buy a plan, processed by Stripe. We store the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, not your full card number.

Data from your site and Stripe

If you install the ViewToCash tracker on a site you control, we collect what that site sends us so you can attribute traffic to a video:

  • A visitor identifier stored in a first-party cookie named st_vid and in local storage, for about 90 days.
  • Page URL, referrer, UTM parameters, and coarse device signals (screen size, language, timezone, and a hash of the user agent).
  • Lead details your forms submit, such as name, email, and phone.
  • Payment events from a Stripe account you connect, such as amount, currency, and a Stripe event id, so revenue can be tied to a video.

This data belongs to your workspace. We use it to show you attribution inside ViewToCash. We do not sell it.

Who we share data with

We share data with service providers that run the product:

  • Google, when you connect YouTube and when we call the YouTube API.
  • Stripe, for your subscription and for a Stripe account you connect.
  • The infrastructure providers that host the application and database.

We also share information if the law requires it, or to investigate abuse or a security incident.

Deletion

Email privacy@viewtocash.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete the account or a connected channel. We delete the account data, YouTube tokens, and workspace data associated with that request, except records we must keep for legal, tax, or security reasons. Disconnecting YouTube inside the product deletes that channel's tokens immediately.

Security

Connections to ViewToCash use HTTPS. OAuth tokens and secrets are stored on our servers, not in the browser, and are used only by the systems that call YouTube for your workspace. Access to a workspace is limited to its members. No method of storage is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If we change how we access, use, store, or share Google user data, we will update this policy and notify account holders by email or in the product before that new use begins.
